About supplychainmadness
Jacopo set up supplychainmadness to build and share knowledge
on business, research, and the world of supply chains. The goal of the website is to make supply chain management knowledge accessible.
The reason why such repository is a welcomed addition to the learner’s toolkit is simple: the existing material is not good enough. This doesn’t mean good material doesn’t exist. On the contrary, sources of illuminating insights will be linked, reviewed, and recommended.
It is just that there is so much garbage content floating around: recent textbooks lack structure; academic papers lack in clarity; industry papers lack in background; and large language models (LLMs) keep hallucinating an answer. Hence this website. If something isn’t clear it can be edited, improved, and made available.
